Tough Duck Black garments are made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. We stand behind each one that we make. 

Tough Duck Black products are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, by the original owner. If an item fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product free of charge or replace it at our discretion. 

This warranty does not cover any repairs needed due to accidents, improper care, negligence or normal wear and tear. For any damage not covered under the warranty, we may offer to repair the damage for a reasonable charge. If such an offer is made, we will discuss it with the consumer, prior to any repairs being made.

What does life time of the product mean?

Our products are covered under warranty, to the original owner, for the practical lifetime of the product.  Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime.

What is “normal wear & tear”?

Although we manufacture every product to meet our high quality standard, nothing lasts forever. Eventually every product will begin to show signs of age and wear such as faded fabric or frayed cuffs, and we take this into consideration when assessing your warranty request. It may simply be that your product has reached its practical lifetime.

All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. We are liable for lost in-bound packages. All items must be laundered prior to being sent in for repair in accordance with our health and safety practices. If your item has not been cleaned before it arrives we will clean it for you at a nominal charge.

All warranty claims should follow the below procedure:

1. Contact warranty@toughduckblack.com to review your claim, be advised of next steps and receive a claim number
2. All items must be sent with a claim number visible on the outside of the package or it will not be accepted
3. All items must be cleaned before sending
4. All items must be sent prepaid and insured
